We are a small studio in Southern California and love to play Fairy Godmother with brides, dreamers, and cosplayers all over the world on their dream gowns.
If you are interested in seeing our vision of your gown before booking we offer design sketches! A $150 fee will be charged for design sketches made before a gown is booked. You will receive two sketches based on your request with the opportunity to request changes for a third sketch. If a gown is booked with us, we will deduct the sketch fee from the final cost of your gown. These can be bought directly from our shop here.
Below you will see a design chart where you can choose from 7 body styles and 6 main colors - but don't let that stop you, we can customize further if you'd like!
Production time and available deadlines vary based on our schedule and can vary from
4-8 months based on other bookings, so please plan ahead! We also suggest that you have your requested due date be 1-2 weeks before your event so you have time to try on and get used to your new piece.
With COVID-19, we are booking more time per project right now.

Our custom handmade garments start at $1500 with ball gowns starting at $2200. We happily accept payment plans with deposits as low as 10%. After we quote your gown price and a payment plan has been agreed upon, we will send you a contract ensuring you will receive your garment on time and we will receive your payments on time. We accept: Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit/debit cards, via PayPal or Personal Checks. You do not need a PayPal account to pay a PayPal invoice, only a credit/debit card.
Please note that we do not ship until all commission and shipping fees have been paid in full.
Unless otherwise requested, packages are shipped Priority USPS fully insured with signature delivery. Glimmerwood is not responsible for delayed, lost, stolen or damaged packages.
International Clients: Please be aware that you are responsible for any taxes or customs fees that may be incurred when accepting your package delivery and note that we will list the paid price the customs forms.
Due to the highly personalized and custom nature of Glimmerwood’s work, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges. You will receive photos of your garment before it is shipped for you to approve. Please be assured that our quality is guaranteed, if you are unhappy for some reason, please contact us and will do our best to resolve your issue.
