Princess of Hearts

Princess of Hearts

This garment took me for a run. I had a blast creating custom fabric for the underskirt, playing with rose fabric for the over skirt, and detailing the bodice with tons of sequined appliques. The client requested that there wouldn't be a bulky neck piece so I opted to create a chunky necklace instead of a large collar.

Red Arabian Princess

Red Arabian Princess

I've always loved the combination of red and gold and was so excited to capture it with this garment. The gold lace reminded me of flames licking the red silk. As per my client's request this garment was also presented with a modesty corset.

Arabian Princess in Mint

Arabian Princess in Mint

The mint Arabian Princess was centered around the unique trims and minty silk I found for the bra. Everything else was found to compliment these two pieces. This was also created for a princess company!

Modest Arabian Princess in Mint

Modest Arabian Princess in Mint

The modesty corset for Jasmine cosplays was an idea that I came up for when I was creating my first Jasmine costume for Charisma Star TV. She wanted something that captured the original spirit of the character but was still modest enough to be comfortable in public. I think it was a gorgeous compromise and I've created more Jasmine's with the optional corsets than without.

We hadn't picked a color when we discussed the garment, but when I found the lace I knew I had found the right inspiration fabric. For maximum modesty the corset was added. However, the waistline on the pants was raised higher than normal so it can be worn without for a more authentic -but still a *bit* modest- look.

An Arabian princess I created for a princess company that wanted a modest beautiful costume to wear around children.

Little Mermaid Pink Ball Gown

Ozma of Oz

Ozma of Oz

I embellished the bodice with dozens of hand crafted silk flowers and large faux emeralds. The sleeves have pearls and beads cascading from them in a way I am sure I will utilize again! The skirt is layered to be shimmering and detailed with more flowers, rhinestones and large sequins with a curly hem.

Tightrope Walker

Tightrope Walker

I felt like hidden details were important to me in creating this piece. I hid a ghost face in the center of the daisies and I hid loads of spiders in the lace embellishments to add to the creepy vibe. The capelet is lined with a luxuriously soft fabric to help ease having something tight around your neck (a personal pet peeve). I built a petticoat into the skirt so the shape will always be ideal.

Pirate Wench

Pirate Wench

This garment was created for a Pirate Festival this Summer. I was asked to incorporate a red color and was given free range on most everything else. After I was done, I realized this reminds me of Harley Quinn and now I have a desire to create Batman villain pirates!

Golden Moon Princess

Golden Moon Princess

This moon princess has the power of gold on her side. Large circles trimmed with gold and rhinestones top the gown with more gold trim dripping into the pearl detailing at the empire waist. The skirt is incredibly fluffy with lots of layers and curly hems.

Snow White Battle Coat

Snow White Battle Coat

Here is my take on the Once Upon A Time Battle Coat Snow White wears in the first season. I opted to make the coat adjustable and have the blouse underneath puff through the slashes. The coat also features over 800 hand sewn buttons! This piece was truly a test of patience, and I couldn't be happier with the results.

Silver Moon Princess

Silver Moon Princess

This gown has a flowing skirt with a slight a-line and detailing in mostly silver with a little gold. Large pearls transition the detailed bodice into the skirt. The sleeves were designed to look like little clouds a moon princess might sit on while looking down upon the world.

Coronation Princess

Coronation Princess

Here is a Coronation gown I finished recently. It is always fun playing with pleats and I especially enjoyed creating a custom petticoat in the exact shape I was after.

Dilophosaurus

Dilophosaurus

I've been wanting to become a Dilophosaurus for a couple years now, I've always thought there was something weirdly elegant about the frill the Jurassic Park team gave the small dinosaur. I draped and painted the gown to resemble the skin and created the (removable) collar to match.

Spring Fever Queen

Spring Fever Queen

I had a blast recreating this gown using richer colors and better quality lace. I also loved airbrushing the cape to a slight ombre that was difficult to capture in the photo, but gave it just the right touch!

Singing Witch Gown

Singing Witch Gown

This is a gown I created for a client who was really inspired by the Celestina Warbeck face character at Wizarding World. I feel in love with the dress and had a blast creating my own version that sparkled and shimmered from miles away. I love the feather boa and would love to do this gown slightly altered as a wedding dress!

Moon Princess

Moon Princess

Moon Ballerina

Moon Ballerina

This is a ballerina outfit inspired by a moon princess. I wanted to create a skirt that was floaty and reminiscent of cloud, using layers of different weights and colors of tulle.

Spring Fever Princess

Spring Fever Princess

The skirt was dip dyed for a slow ombre gradient, and all the sunflowers were custom designed and embroidered on. This gown required a lot of intricate detail work and even featured secret pockets!

Sunflower Fairy

Sunflower Fairy

I love this dress. The lace was chosen because it reminded me of shooting stars. Everything was hand painted to give the effect of sunflower petals all tops with a bejeweled sunflower seed button.

Daughter of the Mad Hatter

Daughter of the Mad Hatter

I had a ton of fun creating this! Fun Fact, this was created exclusively with leftover project supplies. The only thing I bought was the petticoat. I love when I can create something that inspires me AND help clean out my supply closet in the process.

Lolita Sailor Scout

Lolita Sailor Scout

Last year, I fell in love with an artist that goes by NoFlutter. I had a wonderful time bringing her artwork to life with this gown.

Esmeralda

Esmeralda

I love creating this gown because I love working with beaded trims and dangle-y pieces.

Into the Woods Witch Gown

Into the Woods Witch Gown

I created the gowns for Traci Hines' newest music video which is for Disney's Into The Woods Blu Ray/Digital HD/Disney Movies Anywhere release! The music video will be live on Traci's YouTube channel this week.

Ombre Party Dress

Ombre Party Dress

This dress was made to a client's sketch. She wanted to incorporate golds and browns and ombre details.

Mrs. Lovett

Mrs. Lovett

This was a garment inspired by Sweeny Todd. Not picture, the bloomers and stockings!

Vanessa Gown

Vanessa Gown

This gown was based on Vanessa from the Little Mermaid when she is getting married. I especially loved decorating the glowing necklace I found on etsy!

Ice Harvestor

Ice Harvestor

I rarely take on menswear commissions, but I had a lot of fun with this piece. After everything was sewn together, it was airbrushed to look like it had been worn out in the wilderness.

Ruffled Rapunzel

Ruffled Rapunzel

I created this gown with an emphasis on the laces. I ruffled, pleated and stitched them for different effects. Most for the fabric used was hand dyed for the desired effect.

Daisy Rapunzel

Daisy Rapunzel

This Rapunzel gown had a daisy theme. I found an amazing daisy burnout velvet for the underskirt and adorable daisy chain lace for the details. Most of this fabric was custom dyed to create the look I was after.

Spring Queen

Spring Queen

The fabric of the dress was airbrushed to get the green ombre and lace appliques were placed on the bust and the hem of the skirt. Quite a few faux flowers were sewn on the cape for an extra springy look. Very excited to show this off in person at WonderCon this year!

Ragdoll Ensemble

Ragdoll Ensemble

All this fabric was hand dyed, stitched, and painted to get all the effects you see here. I started with white linen and spandex and went bananas from there.
